At Copenhagen Airport, oversized luggage (skis, golf bags, bike boxes, surfboards, large pushchairs) comes out at a separate oversize belt next to the main baggage reclaim in the Terminal 3 arrivals area, often a little after normal bags. For the onward journey, a standard taxi rarely fits more than one large item. Book a Mercedes V-Class (up to 7 passengers with bulky kit) or a Sprinter for groups.

At the airport
- Check your airline’s rules for sports equipment. Most charge a fixed fee and require advance booking.
- Oversize belt: after the normal belts, look for the oversized baggage sign. Ask staff if your item hasn’t appeared 15–20 minutes after the rest.
- Trolleys: free trolleys are available in the baggage hall.
- Damage: report any damage to your airline’s handling agent before leaving the baggage hall.
