For a weekend trip, driving and parking at Copenhagen Airport is usually cheaper than a chauffeur. For trips of about a week or longer, airport parking can add up to a similar amount as a return chauffeur transfer (from €120 out and €125 back in the city area). The chauffeur has no shuttle bus, no walk to a far car park and no drive home after a night flight. Check live parking prices at cph.dk, as they vary by car park and how early you book.

Many Copenhageners and Zealand residents drive to CPH out of habit. It’s worth doing the maths now and then, because airport parking prices have risen, and a chauffeur there and back has quietly become competitive for longer trips, especially for families.
What airport parking costs
Copenhagen Airport runs several car parks, from premium parking close to the terminals to cheaper long-term parking served by shuttle buses. Prices depend on the car park, how long you stay and how far ahead you book online (early booking is usually much cheaper). Always check current prices on the official CPH parking pages.
How to compare
| Trip | Driving + parking | Chauffeur return (city area) | Usually cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekend (2–3 nights) | Parking for 3 days + fuel | €245 (€120 + €125) | Parking |
| One week | Parking for 7–8 days + fuel | €245 | Close; depends on car park and booking time |
| Two weeks | Parking for 14–15 days + fuel | €245 | Often the chauffeur, especially at premium car parks |
| Family of 5 with luggage, one week | Parking + fuel | €300 (V-Class both ways) | Often similar, and much easier |
Chauffeur prices are for the Copenhagen city area. Addresses in North Zealand, West Zealand or Sweden are quoted at a fixed price. Night rides (21:00–06:00) +10%.

What the price doesn’t include
- Time: finding a space, the shuttle bus, walking with luggage.
- Returning tired: driving home after a long-haul overnight flight is risky. The Danish Road Safety Council (Rådet for Sikker Trafik) warns about tired driving.
- Weather: clearing ice off the car in January after two weeks in the sun.
- Delays: if your return flight is late, a chauffeur tracks it. Your car in the car park doesn’t care, but you’ll be driving at 02:00.
“Great service, reliable, and very responsive. Highly recommended!”

Best of both
For trips of a week or more, many clients book a chauffeur both ways with a V-Class for the family’s luggage, and a meet & greet on return so someone’s waiting in arrivals.
