Copenhagen Airport to Malmö: Private Chauffeur Transfer

A private transfer from Copenhagen Airport to Malmö takes about 30–35 minutes to central Malmö and 45 minutes to Lund, across the Øresund Bridge. We quote one fixed price that includes the bridge toll (DKK 470 at the toll booth for a car in 2026), VAT and meet & greet in the CPH arrivals hall. There is no second payment at the bridge and no change of transport at the border.

Copenhagen Airport is Malmö's real international airport. Most people flying to southern Sweden land at Kastrup, and many of our airport passengers are heading east over the water rather than into Copenhagen. The Øresund Bridge starts about 3 km from the terminal, so the whole trip is short. It is also a border crossing, a toll road and, at peak times, a queue. A chauffeur who drives it every day takes care of all three.

Route, time and toll

The route follows the Øresund motorway through the Drogden tunnel and out onto the 8 km bridge. The single-trip toll for a passenger car is DKK 470 at the booth or DKK 420 online, per the official Øresundsbron price list (valid from 14 September 2026). Tolls are included in our quote, so you never pay them separately.

Border checks

Denmark and Sweden are both in Schengen, but Sweden has carried out identity and border checks on traffic from Denmark in recent years, and the rules change with the security situation. Carry your passport or national ID card for every passenger, including children. If a check is running, it happens at the Lernacken toll plaza on the Swedish side and usually takes a few minutes. Your chauffeur will tell you in advance if long delays are being reported. Current travel requirements are published by the Swedish Police.

Car or train?

The Øresundståg train leaves from the station beneath Terminal 3 and reaches Malmö C in about 20 minutes. It is good value if you travel light and your hotel is next to the station. A private transfer is the better choice when:

• your destination isn't at a station (Västra Hamnen, Limhamn, Lund University, company offices in Hyllie or Medicon Village);
• you are travelling with family or colleagues, as the fixed car price quickly beats several train tickets plus taxis;
• you land late or trains are disrupted, which happens regularly on the Øresund line;
• you want to work, call or rest in private.
