Arriving in winter
- Flights can be delayed by snow or storms; book transfers with flight tracking. See flight delay policy.
- Wind off the harbour makes it feel colder than the thermometer suggests.
- Pavements can be icy; cobbles even more so. A car to the door helps with luggage.
- Days are short, so use daylight for outdoor sights. See Christmas in Copenhagen by car.
What to pack
- All year: a waterproof jacket, layers, comfortable shoes for cobbles.
- Summer: sunglasses and a light jumper for evenings by the water.
- Winter: a warm coat, hat, gloves and a scarf.
