Driving in Copenhagen is easy on the motorways and frustrating in the centre. Street parking in the inner city costs roughly DKK 40 per hour or more in the central zone, most hotels charge for parking, the bridges to Sweden and Funen carry tolls, and cyclists have priority almost everywhere. In Denmark, anyone carrying paying passengers must hold a chauffeur licence, and the vehicle must be registered for passenger transport under the Taxi Act. The rules are set by the Danish Road Traffic Authority. Every Copenhagen Services driver is licensed and insured, and you receive their name and mobile number before pickup. Be wary of unlicensed "private drivers" advertising on social media or classifieds: they are illegal in Denmark and usually uninsured for passengers.
